SHAREit - Connect & Transfer App Reviews
It only worked once … and no more. I tried everything to make it work again, in vain. No assistance whatsoever and no guide for proper use. It looks awesome the first time but is useless as it is. Nice app but needs some development work to become reliable
Running 0.6.0 on OS X 10.11.5 and the app crashes 100% of the time when attempting to connect to the W10M app. Too bad because this would be the ONLY app to do cross-platofrm file transfers… please oh please fix this!

I was very hopeful for this app to work on my Mac as well, as I use it on my phone. But unfortunately it did not work for me.
i enjoy the app on my iphone very much but on mac it is very bad it needs alot of work, we need updates and alot of things that ease the transfer process, thank you.

Crashes on El Capitan

The app does download completely but does not finishes installation and dialog appears unable to download . Did 3-4 times but the same response.NEED Help on el capitan os X version 10.11 . crashes immediately after download.
I enjoy the app on my phones to transfer files and stuff cuz its simple and looks pretty cool but the Mac app just pops up and thats it. The only thing you can click on is the minimize button and help button that is absolutely no help at all, its like two sentences! I was so irrated that I just decided to delete it on all of my devices. Some customer support would have been nice but couldnt even find that.
Refuses the connection
I swear to God that both my phone and my computer are on the same wireless network! It has not worked for 10 minutes. I'm about to give up.

Horrendous
THis app is just disgracefully and disappointing. It will work sometime, and sometimes it would not work. To be more specific, it has connection issues throughout all device platform: from andriod to ios and from anddriod to mac. Please, work on this!!

There are no instructions, I went to their website as tried to send them feedback but it returned: Your message wasn't delivered to [email protected] because the domain ushareit.comfeedback couldn't be found. Check for typos or unnecessary spaces and try again.
Works Great
SHAREit documents itself very well! If you read the instructions, check the icons, the app transfers files rapidly and without error! This is one of the few methods of transferring data from an Android platform to a macOS platform! Thank you "SHAREit Technologies Co. Ltd.!" I have no relationship with the developer. This was a very trickey app to use. I did not understand the instructions whatsoever. You would think that you could just open it, connect like airdrop with windows 10, but no. I was a fool for thinking that I could do that with this app as well.

Your servers are down is the error….continually, can’t connect to anything. Pull this down if it doesn’t work, regardless if it’s free or not.
2019-Works Perfect!
Just used this to download a video I made and it worked the best! I think they paid attention to the review prior posted as their was a lot of directions on how to use the app when it first opened! I love apps that listen to their public feedback!
2019 - Works good
Nothing is ever as easy as it first appears but after a bit of messing around with it, I found that it works as advertised and it's free, so a bit of confusion at first was fine, the price was right, lol. Don't be duanted by the fact that there's a bit to set up, it actually went by quickly after I got the hang of it. I would have given it a 5 star rating, except for the fact that I could not find any directions but pushing buttons here and there allowed me to get it to function to my liking. It works and it was transfered over to my Mac very quickly, so it deserves a 4 star rating, the poor ratings must be from older versions, this is 2019, ignore the reviews from years past, looking forward to putting a lot more photo's on my Mac now!

This app DON’T WORK. I have a Note9, iPhone 7 plus and A Mac Book Pro. YOU NEED TO UPDATE YOUR APP PLEASE. WHEN YOU UPDATE… YOUR APP WILL HAVE 5 STARS ALL WAYS!
Why doesnt it work like regular Share it???
Why do I have to scan a QR code first?? Share it doesn’t work like this. I can transfer files from my windows 10 laptop to other windows laptop but my macbook air requires to scan a QR code. So apple, i guess.
It crashes
I only manage to save one photo and it crashes and I have to start the process all over again. Please fix this. I believe if it fixes, it’ll be a great app but the chrashing is a huge problem.

To use remote view my phone say I have to update to version 0.9.3. The app store needs to update the 0.9.0 version. Other than that the files transfer fine. I noticed that when I transfered a 3GB file from my phone to mac, it slowed down at 1GB. But it went through. I was using Airdroid and it only lets you transfer 25mb max. This works way better.

This is like a super old version. It takes V4.0 to connect with my phone. why dont you UPDATE?????

This version of the app works completely fine, I don’t know why so many people have given it a 1 star. Most probably the previous versions were buggy.
